The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis as a Tri-Services Organisation, comprising the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, engaged in developing the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The soldier youth foundation in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, higher secondary, colleges and universities all over India. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and drill. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course.

Uniform Details:

1. NCC Shirt:

• Fabric: Poly-viscose or poly-cotton blend for durability and breathability

• Color: Olive Green (standard NCC regulation color)

• Design: Full-sleeve shirt with buttoned front and shoulder epaulettes for ranks and insignia

• Sizes: Available in all standard sizes – XS to 4XL

2. NCC Trousers:

• Fabric: Matching poly-viscose/poly-cotton blend

• Design: Straight-fit, belt-looped trousers for a smart military cut

• Color: Olive Green

• Sizes: Waist sizes from 26” to 46” with multiple lengths

3. NCC Beret Cap (with badge):

• Material: Wool-blend

• Color: Standard NCC maroon (for SD/SW) or navy blue (for JD/JW)

• Includes: NCC metal crest badge

4. Web Belt (with buckle):

• Color: Khaki or black based on division

• Material: Durable nylon with metal buckle engraved with NCC logo

5. Lanyard:

• Purpose: Worn over the shoulder and under the arm – signifies division and company
